The Department of Surgery at the University of Massachusetts-Baystate in Springfield, MA is looking for a surgery research resident to fill a position beginning July 1, 2019. This is a funded and mentored two-year training position in translational and clinical outcomes research working with faculty in the Department of Surgery. Trainees are expected to be inquisitive and motivated individuals committed to full-time research. There will be some limited clinical call responsibilities. The successful candidate will have successfully completed two years of surgical residency training in an ACGME-accredited general surgery residency program by June 30, 2019, and eligible for a medical license in Massachusetts.
