Urology PGY2 Position

Virginia Mason Medical Center
Date Posted: September 6, 2019

Urology PGY-2 position open immediately for candidates who have completed a year of general surgery training in an ACGME approved program. Virginia Mason Medical Center is a nonprofit multi-specialty clinic in Seattle, Washington. Our Urology residents train on a high volume service with 12 full time faculty (plus superb faculty at our external rotation sites), 4 clinical fellows, and 1 resident per year. Residents from two external programs, University of Washington and Madigan Army Medical Center, rotate at VM, adding diversity, cross-program camaraderie, and sharing of ideas. Faculty to resident ratio is high, the clinical and surgical experiences are excellent (including a unique training in renal transplantation), and there is ample opportunity for residents to pursue clinical, translational, and basic science research at a world class level during a dedicated research rotation.
