The General Surgery Residency Program at the University of Illinois at Mt. Sinai in Chicago has an available position for a PGY-3 resident to start late June 2018. To apply you must have successfully completed all training at an ACGME-accredited training program by late June 2018 and been in good standing. Applicants must either be in residency currently or have completed their PGY-2 no earlier than June, 2017. Unfortunately, at this time we cannot support any any applicants requiring a US visa.

Interested applicants should submit the following documents: • Current Curriculum Vitae • Letter describing the reason you wish to transfer • Dean’s Letter • USMLE Scores, Steps 1, 2 and 3 • ABSITE Reports for all 2 years • Defined Category and Resident Operative Report by Year • Annual Competency-Based Summative Evaluation for All Years of Training• List of Completed Rotations for All Years of Training • Three Current Letters of Recommendation including the Program Director of the most recent or current program.
