Categorical PGY-2 position – NEW!

The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education recently approved our program to increase the number of categorical positions from 3 to 4 residents per year. We are looking for an applicant who will complete a PGY-1 year at an ACGME-approved General Surgery residency program and is in good standing with his/her current program. The start date will be July 1, 2020. Qualified applicants should submit the following documents: [via email only] * Updated CV * Medical school diploma * Medical school transcript * MSPE (Dean's letter) * USMLE/COMLEX Transcripts (a first-time pass on all exams is required) * Personal statement * ECFMG certificate (if applicable) * Citizenship/Visa Status * Defined Category Case Log Report * 3 letters of recommendation from faculty - 1 from current Program Director Please consolidate as many documents as possible into one PDF file.
