The Division of Surgical Oncology at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and the Seidman Cancer Center are offering a mentored, paid research fellowship position for 1-2 years to qualified medical school graduates and surgical residents interested in a career in surgery or oncology. We are especially interested in recruiting ambitious physician researchers eager to contribute knowledge and understanding to breast surgery and breast cancer fields. Experience with clinical research including biostatistics, database design and analysis, clinical trials, and manuscript writing is preferred but not required. Goals include manuscript submission and publication, grant preparation and submission, as well as presentations at national meetings. Strong communication skills are required but international applicants are welcome. One paid, full-time position is available.
