Educational Tools

In a joint APDS/ACS project, educational tools are being developed to support program directors and coordinators.

These tools can be used free of cost by any residency in general surgery.

Many programs are already using the resident assessment and online course tools.

The portfolio project is, at this time, only a prototype and is being developed as a pilot project for early 2007.

We welcome feedback and suggestions on electronic projects that can help in the education of residents and facilitate ACGME compliance.
